Ignorance of the highest form is
to make the bold declaration: "God's Dead". The fear of the unknown
drives one to block out any possibilities of its existence. What cannot be
explained is discarded as nonsense and impossible. Truth is ... ignorance is
not an excuse. Ignorance is a choice; a bold step to know less than more.
People like to do battle between
science and God. They're always trying to explain why there's no such thing as
God through theories and so-called wise sayings. They make a sentence that
confuses many, but in sounding right, they accept and acclaim it as truth. This
is as always ... the workings of the devil - the great deceiver. He likes to be
smart, and thus, when one method of deception does not work ... he goes in for
another ... calling it some fancy name like: "The Big Bang".
The innate workings of man is to
grow in wisdom and understanding the workings of the earth in which he lives.
Unfortunately, the devil, in an attempt to mislead, brings out various meanings
to things created himself to cause a blinding of the truth. In other words, he
makes something, creates a "sensible" meaning to it, and then spreads
it as truth. By doing this, he takes the eyes of men of God's creation and
reason for that creation.
What am I saying? Well ... it's
simple. If God truly does not exist, then how did anything come to be? Science
tries to go round in countless circles avoiding the truth, and hence brings
about so many confusing theories that in actual sense do corroborate The Creator
and the creation story. The big bang? Well ... there certainly was a big bang
when God said let there be light and the uncountable billions of stars appeared
out of nothing. 3×10 to the power 8, I believe, is the speed of light. Coming
out of the mouth of God at such a speed would definitely create a big ... or
better still ... a huge bang! I mean come on ... if the sun, whose heat is
greatly unbearable from such a distance as we are from it, which is neither the
biggest nor brightest star there is in this universe, came out of God's mouth
at the command "Let there be light...", you really think there would
not be a big bang when all those lights came out of that command? Think about
it ... that's only for the lights ... I haven't even mentioned the waters,
lands, nature, plant and animal life, clouds, planets, or the elements.
This is my favorite quote by far
- "Nonsense remains nonsense, even when spoken by famous scientists."
-- John Lennox
Now, let me go into my current
favorite question: "If there's a God out there who loves and cares about
us, why does He allow all these bad things going on in the world to occur? The
storms and wars and destruction ... if there really is a God who is all good
and all powerful, why does he allow evil to exist?" The first time I heard
this question I did not know how I would answer it. In fact, I had no idea how
to answer it till I watched the movie 'God's Not Dead'; a movie that teaches a
lot about God. The funny thing was, I knew the answer all along, only I didn't
know that it was the answer. The answer, quite simply I might add, is Free
Will. God gave man the ability to make choices - Free Will. He does not impose
because He is God. He is fair and just, and so allows us to choose ... hoping
we would make the right choice and choose life, rather than death. From the
Christian stand point, God tolerates evil in this world on a temporary basis,
so that one day those who choose to love Him freely will dwell with Him in
heaven free from the influence of evil, but ... (and here's my favorite part of
this explanation as giving by Josh Wheaton, the main character in the God's Not
Dead, who 'defends' God before his class to His lecturer, an Atheist) ... with
their free will IN TACT. In other words, God's intention concerning evil is to
one day destroy it.
The reason many conclude God's dead is simply because He did not answer some earnest prayer
request concerning a particular thing, and so they turn angry, hate God, and
conclude He does not exist. But ... if He does not exist ... how can you hate
someone ... if they don't exist?
"If God does not exist ...
then everything is PERMISSIBLE." ...and also POINTLESS!
Ignorance is never an excuse, and
it remains a sin. Search for the truth. Do not rely on what people say ... find
it out for yourself.
I will conclude with this ... To
those who think they're living a 'good life'. These are the words of a wise old
woman living with dementia - "Sometimes, the devil allows people to live a
life free of trouble because he doesn't want them turning to God. Sin is like a
jail cell, except it's all nice and comfy, and there doesn't seem to be any
need to leave. The door is wide open, so one day, time runs out and the cell
door's slammed shut, and suddenly ... it's too late." You would do well to
heed this.
