-Difference-

All one, we are
yet, different.

Of similar form, we seem
but, great is our difference.

One life each for all, yet,
multiple are the paths taken.

The hearts may agree,
but the mind is in a world of its own.

Man is one being,
yet many in his forms.

Quite a lot, are his flaws
quite as many, are his perfections.

Random, is his nature
Unseemly, is he.

Like wind, he comes and goes
as grass, he fades away.

Though, up, a front he puts,
of strength and will...

Trials doth reveal truth:
naught but frail, is he.

With eyes, different,
the world, he views.

By difference of ear
he hears different.

A mystery, complete, is his mind
yet, worse is his heart.

A web of confusion is reward
for attempting understanding

A being so far from black or white,
tis an area of non-discovery - grey!

.Pain.

 It sucks!

Now that honesty is out of the way... let's delve.

The feeling to grab and rip your heart out is an all-too-common emotion any can relate with. The sting that just won't go away and leave you be. That aching-burn that increases in intensity by the effort to reduce it to embers... the helplessness of any before this mindless oppressor!

Driving the most sensible of men to insanity, the strongest at heart to cry as babes, and even the heartless to find remorse ... this force hovers about as a grey cloud. All sense of feel for any other emotion type is completely lost, ability to think disappears as does a shadow, strength dwindles, reason fades, help seems like a sun that sets and never to rise again. The worst part though is, the harder you try to get rid of it... the worse it becomes and the more seemingly impossible to overcome it becomes.

Burning through like a hot iron forge, pain can cause the most unbearable ... well ... pain. It simply is inexpressible save through tears and sobs. It weakens, increasingly, the heart and mind of any who dares oppose it. It threatens the very existence of sanity, blows out reason, and pulls down harmony all in one breath. Torture is quite the understatement for this force of nature. Possibilities once dreamt off passionately and sought after vehemently become total and complete impossibilities lost to the wind! All efforts drowned! The clear skies turn grey as the surroundings fade into mist... any possible way out becomes an impossible one to be found.

The beauty of this world is the fact that there always is a way out of anything. It can be found only if you look hard enough. Hard enough to see past the fog-causing pain, hard enough to feel past the numbing effects of deep lacerating scars, hard enough to up and walk past unforgettable occurrences, hard enough to breathe under drowning forces, hard enough to see a ray of light in dampening darkness... hard enough to smile at the raging storm! Thus, any with a will as strong iron and indestructible as diamond who is willing and able to look hard enough past all will find peace in a seemingly unending war within oneself.

The mind can be a powerful tool or... one's worst enemy. Whatever a person envisions, focusing on it long enough will bring it to fruition. Pain is simply a state of mind. I am not denying it (the world knows how many times I've shed tears), I'm just saying you feel what you want to feel. If it is peace and joy you want, having that as your focus and working towards it, you will have it. Focusing on pain drowns out the very many possibilities of any desired peace.

Pain is nothing but a figment of one's imagination...

Kind-Worth

1 Corinthians 13 : 1 (KJV) - "Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal."

Ever heard the sound of resounding brass?? 'tis particularly annoying! ...especially when it is played on its own, loud and with 'no reason'. It makes such irritating noise that you'd be drawn to walk up to and slap the head of the orchestrator of such discomfort. Well, that is the sound of any one person who claims to do a lot of good but has no charity at heart. That verse up there is a great attest to this. In fact, better put, it is an awesome punchline!

Ever wondered why many are suffering and in pain, yet many walk on by, regardless? Ever also wondered why some so-called 'elite' live lavish lives while those under their rule cry for help?? Has it ever occurred to you in wondering why many would rather horde than share their resources... even a tiny percentage??? Oh oh! ...and, have you ever wondered why those who supposedly are supposed to be NATURALLY kind to others... be their light in a world of darkness and all... are quite the opposite???? Here's another two verses, God inspired, that hit the nail right in the center of its big ol' head:

1 Corinthians 13 : 2 - 3 (KJV) - "2. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing."
Personally, I'd put an exclamation mark at the end of each of those declarative verses for dramatic effect. They simply make clear the murky waters. The fourth verse, in particular, answers my first and second question... "Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up...". In lacking charity, many instead are filled up with pride, hatred, anger, selfishness, unforgiveness, an unteachable spirit, and a lack of compassion. It is then easy to understand why certain people behave in such unspeakable ways.

The point is, there is no depth of earth in anything a person does if it lacks charity. Why? ...because, "...love covereth a multitude of sins" (Pro 10:12 (KJV), it brings purity and humility to each deed, draws meaning out of each deed, and honor is then giving to He who deserves it all - God! The mark of any who follows Christ is humility and service that brings honor to God and not the one. This can easily be achieved by imitating the life that Jesus lived when He was here on earth. I have come to the realisation though that this is not so easily achieved. I have always wondered how Christ pulled it off when He was down here on earth. The devil attacks and batters in such variety of ways that we begin to think that some things are our fault or are normal or are meant to be. We resign to acceptance of such occurrences, unfortunately. This should not be so. It is never ever normal to have a temper, let alone, a bad one. It is to be such that people go jumping and leaping with overflowing joy from the presence of God in and around you. God is love, and where there is a lack in love, God's presence cannot be found.

Everywhere Jesus went the people who encountered Him, or even remotely did, had a huge turn around in their lives. They went from carrying grey clouds around everywhere to shinning like afternoon suns! If your doings does not change or affect lives in this manner, i think it's a waste of time seeing as it brings glory not to God but to you.

Look... if ever you've loved a person like one who lacks sanity, you'd realise you can do the impossible just to put a smile on their face. That, in my opinion is the highest form/display of ćhåŕïťý. Why? It is boundless!! It is selfless... it is pure... it is of God. Jesus is the only perfect example for this. Despite the evil man did (and still currently does) toward Him, He came down from glory to live among men in order to be an example to man and then died to save man. He continues daily before the throne of God interceeding for man by showing His scars. He gave up all for you and me. If you cannot give up even a single coin to someone who needs help, or help a stranger or a friend even with resources the one lacks... you can do all you think is right but it will all be for naught! 1 Corinthians 13 : 3 (KJV) - "And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing."
